Pedicab Project
The purpose of the Pedicab Project is to provide livelihood for families who were affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Beneficiaries of the program pay less than a dollar per day. After a year, the pedicab will become theirs. In a pedicab program run by New Life Baptist Church of Palo, the church has almost doubled in size after the typhoon, partially because of relationships built through the pedicab program.
We decided to help expand this successful program to 8 other churches, whose communities were also damaged by typhoon Haiyan.
